I srsly have alot of pictures

But there's so little time
to do so !

I had so much time last sem
to do so much shit on the net in school.

Then I started to pay attention
this sem, I litterally have
no time at all the surf
the frigging net !

Plus when I reach home,
I'll be frigging tired.

So to conclude,
THERE IS NO TIME !

i hve no idea why my mind went
blank during UT, I just couldn't

Cus physics like maths + sci

I realise I cnt understand shit
just by being fed with chunks of info.

I need hands on stuff and claculations
to make me understand.

So bio is tht kinda module where
you just google google & google
and understand fucking theories !

the longest RJ I ever written
since the day i started to do RJ(s)

Problem: 06 - Problem 06 - Republic Airport
Opening Date: 2009-11-13 3:29 PM
Closing Date: 2009-11-13 11:59 PM

Question: List out the things that you have learnt today. Hence, attempt question 15 using the graphical method and explain how you arrive at your answer.


I have learnt that by using graph and simultaneous
equations we can solve unknowns. We should have
conditons included when we are using graphs and we
must have at least two equations when solving by
simultaneous equations.

15(a)

The first soloution to get the number of buses and
cost is that we can use the program Graphmatica. Then
plot the graph. We also learn that the lowest point of
a triange in the graph will have the lowest cost.

After plotting, the lowest poing of the graph is
(6,3). Therefore the new lowest cost is :

(6*375) + (3*187.50) = $2812.50

The second solution is to take the before change
hiring price of a minibus to subtract the after change
hiring price to find the difference and multiply by
the number of mini bus hired. Then we take the answer
and subtract it from the total lowest cost price
before the change.

Solution in calculation :

$250 - $187.50 = $62.50

We know that we need to hire 3 mini buses.

$62.50 * 3 = $187.50

Lowest price before the change in the hiring prices is
$3000.

$3000 - $187.50 = $2812.50

15(b)

As if the charges of the mini bus change,

The new cost price if we hire

- 6 coaches and 3 mini buses :
(6*375) + (3*187.50) = $2812.50

- 5 coaches and 5 mini buses :
(5*375) + (5*187.50) = $2812.50

- 4 coaches and 7 mini buses :
(4*375) + (7*187.50) = $2812.50

From here we can see there there is no unique solution.
From the graph we can see that there is also alot of
intersection points which can also conclude that there
is no unique solution.
